Design done in-house
We can help you design a new bathroom, and we design heating systems ourselves, so the system is worked out for your house before anything is fitted.
Your house, looked after
We put dust sheets down and keep out of your way while we work. At the end of each day, we tidy up.

Heat pumps are installed through our partner, Alto Energy. Gas work is arranged through an engineer we work with.
Allan MacDonald
Allan has worked in plumbing and heating for 17 years, 10 of them on air source heat pumps. He started MacDonald Plumbing, Heating & Renewables to work to his own standards and see each job through from start to finish, so the customer gets what they are after. He still does the heating design himself. As the work grows, the plan is to take on an apprentice and build the team.

The finish we work to.
Hot water cylinder and copper pipework. Every run set out straight and clipped. 
Air source heat pump outdoor unit. Raised on its stand, with the isolator on the wall beside it. 
Loft plant space. Boarded walkway, with insulated pipework run neatly across the joists. 
Vertical radiator. Pipework kept tight to the wall and the skirting.
